Description:

  • Maintain oversight of the Leavitt Center Leadership, Executive Council, and Fellows Team
  • Ensure that operations run smoothly, deadlines are met, and that members conduct themselves in a professional manner
  • Motivate and excite the team
  • Ensure a welcoming an inclusive work environment
  • Prepare the Center's retreats, trainings, and development activities
  • Serve as the official representative of the Center
  • Mediate and help resolve work conflicts and consider disciplinary action if needed

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of the history and the role of the Leavitt Center at SUU in the lives of each member and student.
  • Requires intimate knowledge of and experience with the internal structure and operation of the Leavitt Center
  • Real world experience working in and managing teams
  • Knowledge of Google Docs, Sheets, and Drive.
  • Familiarity with community as well as student political beliefs.
  • Effective communication skills essential. Demonstrated ability to motivate individuals.
